And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand. -- Rev 8:4 (KJV)
The Judgement of God
And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake. -- Rev 8:5 (KJV)
And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. -- Rev 8:6 (KJV)

The use of symbols in prophecy
What is meant by the tree ?
And now also the ax is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. -- Mat 3:10 (KJV)
What is meant by the grass ?
The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. -- Isa 40:3 (KJV)
Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain: -- Isa 40:4 (KJV)
And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it. -- Isa 40:5 (KJV)
The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field: -- Isa 40:6 (KJV)
The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the LORD bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass. -- Isa 40:7 (KJV)
The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever. -- Isa 40:8 (KJV)
First Seal

And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. -- Rev 6:1 (KJV)
And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. -- Rev 6:2 (KJV)
Pergamos means Married
Constantine's marriage of imperial Rome with the Church
Movement of throne from Rome to Constantinople

Some say Christianity conquered Rome by defeating the Roman gods,
and pagan worship throughout the empire,
others say that by Christianity swallowing the pagan rites, festivities, and polytheistic ceremonies of the old Roman empire, Christianity itself had been conquered by Rome.
The truth: Both had given way to a new creature having the attributes and characteristics of pagan Rome and Christianity. The creature is described as a hybrid beast. How fitting.

The Gifts of the Spirit
Second Seal
After judgment fell upon Judah, judgement next was visited upon Rome
And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. -- Rev 6:3 (KJV)
And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. -- Rev 6:4 (KJV)
Second Trumpet

And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; -- Rev 8:8 (KJV)
And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed. -- Rev 8:9 (KJV)
Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her. -- Rev 18:20 (KJV)
And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all. -- Rev 18:21 (KJV)
Rome had been almpst completely destroyed by various warring factions throughout the empire causing the kingdom to split into its ten parts. For example, at Adrianople (Edirne) which was located on the wetsern border of Turkey, the invading Visigoths around 378 A.D. wiped out the entire Roman army, including the Roman Emperor Valens. In 410 they ravaged Rome itself. This was the first time that anyone had done so in 800 years.
And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. -- Rev 17:16 (KJV)
For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. -- Rev 17:17 (KJV)
And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth. -- Rev 17:18 (KJV)
We are reminded again how the prophecy said that the beast would recieve a mortal wound, but that he would eventually recover from that mortal wound.

The ten divisions of the Roman Kingdom
from 351 A.D. to 476 A.D
( Germans, Ostrogoths, Visigoths, Franks, Vandals, Suevi, Burgundians, Heruli, Anglo-Saxons, and Lombards.)
In 455 the Vandals ransacked Rome for a second time. They vandalized the city for two weeks, systematically and persistently. The looted everything of value which they could lift. They carryied off the seven golden candlestick which Titus had brought to Rome from Jerusalem when he destroyed Jerusalem.

Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. -- Dan 7:23 (KJV)
And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. (Ostrogoths, Heruls, and Vandals) -- Dan 7:24 (KJV)
Third Trumpet
Satan cleverly infiltrates the Christianity through the agency of the Papacy.

And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter. -- Rev 8:11 (KJV)
And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. -- Rev 13:11 (KJV)
How canst thou say, I am not polluted, I have not gone after Baalim? see thy way in the valley, know what thou hast done: thou art a swift dromedary traversing her ways; -- Jer 2:23 (KJV)
But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication. -- Rev 2:14 (KJV)

And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst: -- Deu 29:19 (KJV)
The LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven. -- Deu 29:20 (KJV)
And the LORD saith, Because they have forsaken my law which I set before them, and have not obeyed my voice, neither walked therein; -- Jer 9:13 (KJV)
But have walked after the imagination of their own heart, and after Baalim, which their fathers taught them: -- Jer 9:14 (KJV)
