Let's re-examine this reference to the seventy years.

The Jubilee is the Gospel Message Christ Preached
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, -- Luke 4:18 (KJV)
To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. -- Luke 4:19 (KJV)
The spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; -- Isa 61:1 (KJV)
To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; -- Isa 61:2 (KJV)
Why is this concept so important to understand ?
Israel became slaves and their land became desolate because they ignored the Sabbath Jubilee to allow their brother to go FREE.
Jewish sources say that 70 years in Babylon was punishment for not obeying 70 Sabbatical years. That sin spread over 490 years
There was 1 Sabbath year for each of the 7 years.
There was a Divine sentence decreed by Moses
for disobeying the Ten Commandments
And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me; -- Lev 26:27 (KJV)
Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins. -- Lev 26:28 (KJV)

And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you. -- Lev 26:30 (KJV)
And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savour of your sweet odours. -- Lev 26:31 (KJV)
And I will bring the land into desolation: and your enemies which dwell therein shall be astonished at it. -- Lev 26:32 (KJV)
And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste. -- Lev 26:33 (KJV)
Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lieth desolate, and ye be in your enemies' land; even then shall the land rest, and enjoy her sabbaths. -- Lev 26:34 (KJV)
As long as it lieth desolate it shall rest; because it did not rest in your sabbaths, when ye dwelt upon it. -- Lev 26:35 (KJV)
How important is the concept of the
seven times ???
10 Commandments * 7 times = 70
